As spring returns to alaska

As spring returns to the USA, we associate the season with warmth as we come out of winter.
In Alaska the glaciers are receding and calving.
The blues in the ice are quite stunning, the noise loud as they crack, and monster chunks of ice break off to form icebergs.
I quite often forgot to press the shutter as I was so absorbed in watching mother nature take her course.
