Algonquin in the Fall

Nature in all its splendour, the multitude of color, from deep reds through subtle yellow and every shade in between, at Algonquin state park are a must see, and to photograph in the Fall. The last week in September or the first week of October are the best times. To get the timing right use the real time web cam on Algonquin's web site.

Typical gear to use are a wide angle around 24mm and a short zoom should enable you to get close and cover all eventualities.

When in Algonquin looking for moose in all this color can be daunting but sometimes they find you.
